eLocalize implements Plunet TMS for Optimization of Company Processes

Cairo/Berlin, 2014 April – The Cairo-based agency eLocalize, one of the leading localization and translation service providers in the Middle East and Africa, implements the Plunet Business and Translation Management System to streamline their internal processes and structures.

Why was a translation management system needed? eLocalize has grown exponentially due to increased project orders, which resulted in a significant expansion of their internal structures in all areas. The agency was therefore on the lookout for a powerful business and translation management software that would support existing processes and structures, while facilitating scalable growth in the future.

Why Plunet? The eLocalize management, production, and IT teams were tasked with an in-depth market analysis to find the right tool to suit their requirements, and Plunet ticked all the boxes. The solution’s excellent reputation and widespread use in the translation and localization industry were important criteria for eLocalize to introduce Plunet. Co-founder Mohamed Aly feels confident to have selected the right management system and partner in Plunet: “Plunet is the most impressive all-in-one solution we have come across in terms of flexibility and level of automation. In the end, our decision was inevitably in favor of Plunet. We were very impressed with the great quality of personal training provided and the quick response of Plunet customer support, which furthermore consolidated our confidence to have made the right decision.”

Plunet not only serves as a central platform for the improvement of internal processes in translation management, it also simplifies the entire project handling from start to finish: “Plunet allows us to simply click a button to receive all-important performance indicators, like gross profit, incoming and outgoing invoices, new customers, and much more. Best of all: the billing process is fully automated. For us, working with Plunet has meant: significant time savings, internal process optimization and improved controlling, while at the same time offering an advanced service to our customers,” explains Aly.

Aly also stressed the importance of other factors, like increased productivity, transparency, and process security, for his decision: “Plunet can create reports on any translation project any time at the click of a button. For our project managers, this in particular is an important benefit when working on common projects at different times, or when substituting for an absent colleague. Entire projects can now be handed over without any loss of information. This feature not only increases the productivity of the entire team, it makes the often complex working day for each project manager a whole lot simpler.”

Aly furthermore explains how end customers and vendors benefit from Plunet: “Plunet has given us a centralized project environment. We can now exchange project-relevant files and documents with customers and business partners directly, receive instant feedback, and respond to requests promptly. To sum it all up: introducing Plunet has been a win-win situation for everyone involved – whichever way you look at it.”

About elocalize

eLocalize for Technology is based in Cairo, Egypt with branch offices in the UAE, Germany and a daughter company Localize Africa (Pty) Ltd., in Johannesburg. From small beginnings it has grown to be one of the largest providers of translation and localization services for Middle Eastern and African languages. The original emphasis was on localizing software into Middle Eastern languages principally Arabic, but the demand was so great that it expanded into other regional languages such as Hebrew, Turkish, Farsi, Kurdish, Pashto, and Urdu amongst others. Other fields were gradually added including engineering, DTP, testing, website design and more.

Then seeing an opportunity well before the world’s attention switched to African markets, eLocalize started offering regional languages and established its own operation in South Africa to handle the increased number of languages, and also to market its services in this country and further afield on the continent.
