We develop and distribute Plunet BusinessManager, the leading Business and Translation Management System for the translation industry. Our customers are leading translation agencies, government organizations and NGOs as well as large international industrial and service companies.

Tasks

  • As the first point of contact for our existing customers, you will handle all their inquiries.
  • You will proactively manage relationships with our customers, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and meet sales targets.
  • You possess a deep understanding of our customers’ business goals and requirements, and you can effectively demonstrate how our software Plunet can help them achieve those goals.
  • You will take ownership of complaint management and provide support to our customers, assisting them with basic user queries.
  • You will conduct webinars and deliver product presentations to showcase software functions and modules. You will also contribute to improving our existing customer care processes.
  • You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including product management, marketing, and implementation, among others.

Requirements

  • You have experience in account management and direct customer interactions.
  • You are familiar with the localization and translation industry, work experience with a LSP is a plus.
  • Technical understanding is an advantage.
  • You enjoy working with and presenting software, both online and in-person, at conferences and client sites.
  • You are highly motivated to contribute to the success of a rapidly growing company.
  • You thrive in a team environment.
  • You proactively, independently, conscientiously, and in a structured manner approach your work, always seeking personal development opportunities.
  • You have experience working in agile teams, and collaborating with remote teams poses no challenge for you.

Our team in Berlin is looking for a Sales Consultant with a passion for languages, international travel and the desire to grow with an expanding business.

Our Sales Consultants help our prospects find the right solution for their business to build long-lasting customer relationships – no cold calling needed!

You will work from our office in Berlin Kreuzberg but you will regularly travel to exciting cities around the globe – such as Lisbon, Istanbul, Amsterdam or Tokyo – to present our software at conferences and industry events!

Tasks

  • You present our software solution at industry conferences and public webinars to attract new customers.
  • You consult prospective customers on the best Plunet solutions for their specific requirements and use cases to create mutually beneficial, long-lasting business relationships.
  • You respond to requests for proposals and set up guided proof of concept phases with your prospects.
  • You are responsible for all phases of the sales process from first contact until contract signature; including requirement analysis, tool demos, process consulting, quote creation and contract negotiation.
  • You are passionate about supporting your prospective clients during the evaluation phase and coordinating a smooth handover to the implementation team after the contract signature.
  • You build a strong relationship with the customer consulting and supporting them. After two years you hand them over to our Account Management.
  • Together with your team, you help optimize sales strategies based on changing market needs and customer requirements.
  • You work closely with other teams, such as account management, implementation,
    support, marketing and product management to improve our product continuously.
  • You are passionate about supporting your prospective clients during the evaluation phase and coordinating a smooth handover to the implementation team after the contract signature.

Requirements

  • You have 2-3 years of professional experience in sales or a degree in business management (or similar background)
  • You enjoy presenting software – online, at conferences, events and on-site meetings
  • You have a very good command of English and German (written and spoken, C1 level). Other language skills are a plus.
  • You are a strong team player with excellent communication and writing skills.
  • You have an independent and proactive working style.
  • You want to contribute to a quickly growing company.
  • Equally important, you have a sense of humor and you find it easy to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
