(Senior) Sales Consultant (gn) Europe

We are a leading business solutions company in the translation industry and are looking for you, a dedicated (Senior) Sales Consultant. You will build long-term customer relationships through solution-oriented sales, ideally with software experience. Strategic thinking, active listening, strong customer management and willingness to travel for customer meetings and international conferences are important. You convince with experience, sensitivity and drive.

Tasks

  • You manage the entire sales cycle—from the initial contact to contract signing.
  • You analyze customer needs, present our product, create offers, and negotiate contracts.
  • You identify the best Plunet solutions for potential customers and establish long-term business relationships.
  • You represent Plunet at industry events and webinars to showcase our software to a broad audience.
  • You guide customers through the evaluation phase and ensure a smooth transition to the implementation team.
  • You analyze market trends and evolving customer needs to further develop our sales strategy.
  • You work closely with Account Management, Implementation, Support, Marketing, and Product Management to provide the best possible service to our customers.

Requirements

  • You have several years of experience in solution-oriented sales, ideally in software project sales.
  • You hold a degree in business administration or a comparable qualification.
  • Fluent German (minimum B2+) and English (B2) are essential for this role.
  • You confidently present software solutions and can explain technical concepts in an understandable way.
  • You analyze customer requirements effectively and develop strategic sales approaches with a focus on long-term partnerships.
  • You communicate clearly and persuasively in both languages.
  • You understand customer needs and provide solution-oriented advice to create sustainable win-win situations.
  • You enjoy working independently and contributing new ideas to the team.
  • You value a collaborative and supportive work environment.
