Plunet, one of the leading global providers of translation management solutions, has intensified its cooperation with renowned industry associations and is now a corporate member of the American Translators Association (ATA) and the European Language Industry Association (ELIA).
Plunet has already been working with a large number of national and international associations for many years. Joint activities range from regular sponsoring and exhibitions at industry conferences, presentations on technology and workflow subjects as well as panel discussions to online seminars and attractive special offers for members of the associations who are often spread over several continents.
Plunet will significantly strengthen this involvement and commitment in the future, thereby underlining the important role played by these associations in the company´s own positive corporate development. In this context, Plunet Marketing Director Daniel Rejtö emphasizes the reasons for the company´s involvement: "For Plunet, intensive and continuous cooperation with the industry associations is a strategic decision. The associations are the mouthpiece and melting pot of our industry, and they represent a very important channel to communicate with the market. But - and this is at least as important for Plunet - the cooperation is also something that we believe is a matter of heart, as a commitment that we feel we owe our industry".
Not only providing a platform for training, technology transfer and an active exchange of experiences, the industry associations also promote the joint development of ideas and standards and help to forge business relationships between translation service providers and suppliers of technology solutions like Plunet.
These complex networking opportunities are an important aspect for Plunet, and as Rejtö emphazises: "Associations really do achieve what they set out to - they bring people and companies together. Stakeholders with different aims and views get to collaborate which is crucial for the development and the success of our industry."
